Twisted

The Twisted luminaire was created as a contemporary reinterpretation of the original Artglass luminaire Flare, which underwent a redesign. Its central motif is a twisted glass rod – an iconic element of traditional chandelier arms, here translated into a clean, linear, and minimalist form. This subtle intertwining within the glass creates a distinctive texture that captures the light and lends the object a gentle sense of movement. Individual elements can be arranged into spatial compositions, ranging from a simple line to more expressive installations. Our designers, for example, created a composition inspired by the negative of a photograph, where everything that usually lights up on a chandelier is turned off, while what normally does not shine becomes illuminated – an abstract echo of the classical chandelier. The design connects glassmaking tradition with the lightness of contemporary interior style.
